My recent visit to the Turkish Airlines Atlanta Office was a good one, but not exactly smooth. I had come in to request a refund for a cancellation of a trip due to a family emergency. The individuals behind the counter were friendly and professional, but it became clear that they were limited by policies set by the corporation outside their control. On the plus side, the staff made every effort to break down the process to me, i.e., what paperwork they required and how soon the refund would be. The customer service representative that I spoke with was understanding and tried to offer options like travel vouchers or changes in itinerary. None of these applied to my situation, and they were unable to override the strict no-refund policy for non-refundable tickets. The office itself is not too difficult to locate if you are familiar with the Buckhead district, but parking is tough during rush hour. If you don't mind, I would recommend getting there a little early. Overall, while the Turkish Airlines Atlanta office is not a corporate-level resolution to issues, the staff were friendly and communicative. If you do have to have a face-to-face discussion for an issue, this office is definitely better than attempting to resolve issues through a call center in another nation.
